Forty Years of Happiness - Baltimore Family Photographer

Talk about a fun photo session - these are some of my most favorite people! My best friend Kelly and her sister Erin surprised their Mom and Dad with a whole family photo session for their 40th Wedding Anniversary!

We had everything scheduled way ahead of time and lucky for us the weather cooperated. It was a beautiful day - there were a lot of laughs and smiles as there usually is when you get this group together - and there were also a lot of outtake photos which made me laugh out loud as I went through them...but I'll save those for another day. Well ok maybe I'll give you just one ;)

Matthew - Fallston Newborn Photographer

Sometimes I feel like when I go to a photo session I need to play '6 degrees of Salisbury' with my clients - and this session was one of them. I showed up at Alyssa's house (by referral from my daughters horseback riding teacher - and Reese & Caden's Mommy) to photograph her new little man Matthew and I knew from the moment I saw her that I knew her from somewhere.

You know that feeling you get when you just 'know' you know someone? Well I had it and then the game began...Where are you from? Where did you go to high school? Where do you work? And come to find out we went to Salisbury together, graduated the same year and the same major!! Such a small world!! I know we had classes together and were probably in some groups together at school...crazy.

Then I ask - so how did you and your husband Brian meet? And she tells me they met through Baltimore Sports and Social Club - which is who my brother works for...again small world.

And they have insanely cute kiddos. Matthew was the star of the show as he was only about 3 weeks old - but loving Big Sister Kaylee wasn't going to be left out!! She made sure that Matthew was doing great and gave him kisses in between his photos.

Coleman Family - Ellicott City Family Photographer

This session was a long time in the making! About 6 months to be exact! Debbie contacted me about getting some photos of her family taken way back in October of last year - and like any fun and growing family it was tough to find a date that worked for everyone. We ended up postponing til spring and everything worked out perfectly! The weather was great right until my last shot - then it rained - but at that point we didn't care :)

I had a great time finally meeting Debbie and her family. Bo & Bell were the perfect addition to the family portraits - as you know I love dogs! And Aidan - oh Aidan and those big blue eyes...so handsome!!
