Pietryka Family - Harford County Child and Family Photographer

The rain has been messing up a lot of my sessions this holiday season. I don't remember having this much rain or this many weather related cancellations ever. Well we beat the rain this day - all of my morning sessions were cancelled, but Morgan was willing to chance it and try to sneak in their family session and I am so glad we did!

Morgan is a first time client of mine, however she came to be a client by referring a friend of hers to me when she hadn't even used me herself! I was in great awe when I heard that someone had thought so highly of my work that she would refer me to a good friend before even meeting me. Humbled.

So I emailed Morgan as a thank you and offered her a referral credit - as I do all of my clients - and then she signed up for a session for her beautiful family. Referrals mean the world to me and my business...without my amazing clients (and their friends!) I wouldn't be where I am today. So thank you!!

Camden - Baltimore Newborn Photographer

I'm still surprised at how much of a small world it is. I had been emailing back and forth with Robyn about the arrival of her little one for about 3 months, then I show up at her house after Camden is born to find out she is the spin instructor from our old gym! My husband and I used to take her Monday night class every week!

I think it is so interesting to find out where families come up with names for their kids. Camden has a neat story - he got his name from Camden Yards, the Baltimore Orioles baseball stadium where his Mom and Dad met when they were back in college. So his name has a history and a story that he can tell his kids one day.

Larkin Family - Harford County Family Photographer

I love getting the opportunity to photograph at new locations. I have been to Swan Harbor Farm before for a few weddings, but I have never thought about photographing there myself until Christy emailed me and suggested it! I was super excited.

We had a perfect weather day. You couldn't have asked for better. I also had a blast running around and having fun with these super cute kiddos!
