Nic + Colleen - Pond View Farm Wedding

We were so very honored last year when we had the opportunity to photograph and film the wedding of our friends and fellow wedding vendors, Nic and Colleen. So you can only imagine how amazing it was to get the chance to celebrate with them all over again for their one year anniversary at Pond View Farm. A party with some of our favorite people at one of our favorite places - who could ask for more!

Colleen and Nic smiled, laughed and danced with their friends and family all night long - looking every bit as happy and in love as they did on their wedding day. They played their wedding ceremony video for everyone to see and catching them watching the video from outside the barn are some of our favorite photos of the day! With all of their guests posing in the photo booth, dancing the night away, and saying good night with a sparkler send off - it couldn’t have been a more memorable event.

Nic and Colleen - once again, thank you for choosing us and trusting us to capture the memories from this incredible day for you. May 18th has been such great days for us the past two years, that we might just have to tag along on next year’s anniversary too! 🤣

Amanda + Tito - Hunt Valley Country Club

It was a beautiful day this past Friday at the Hunt Valley Country Club, where Tito and Amanda celebrated their big day! Sure - the rainy forecast turned into nothing but blue skies for most of the day, but the real gorgeousness came from all of the details and love Tito and Amanda put into this wedding.

The flowers were spectacular in high vases towering on each table and the sweetheart table was covered from one side to the other. Amanda carried her grandmother’s locket in her bouquet and the couple worked together to make the glass signs they placed all around the ceremony and reception.

We all had an adventure, as we drove golf carts onto the course for a memorable first look. The guests waved wands during the recession and Tito pulled Amanda aside to read personalized vows he wrote just for her ears, after the ceremony. There were smiles. happy tears, laughing and SO much dancing that lasted late into the night. And they even ended the evening with a private dance between the two of them after everyone else had left. I mean, how romantic is that?!

Tito and Amanda - thank you so much for asking us to be there to document all of your special memories. We wish you all the happiness in the world!

Steve + Tif - Northern Virginia Wedding

It is truly a privilege to be invited to spend the day with a couple and capture all the special moments from their wedding day. When the couple is practically family, like they were from the wedding this past weekend at the Morrison House in Alexandria - it’s beyond an honor to be the people they choose to document those memories.

I first met the groom Steve, when he was my boss many years ago. Jimmy and I both worked with him over the years, socialized with him, listened to countless stories of his military days (he was in the 519 if you didn’t know), got to know his family, and our girls were even in his daughter Hannah’s wedding. And after meeting Tif now, it feels like she was always meant to be right there with us too! Seeing how happy the two of them make each other is heartwarming and you can see the love in all of their photos.

We dodged another rain forecast, and were able to capture some beautiful shots on the stairs of the Morrison House and with Steve’s classic Mercedes, Gertie. Steve and Tif were STUNNING and looked like something right out of a magazine! We were lucky enough to witness an amazing ceremony filled with love, tears, lots of laughs, and a string quartet! The intimate reception which followed seemed like the perfect way to start the rest of Steve and Tif’s life together.

Steve and Tif - you deserve all of this happiness and so much more!
